Our Mission

SailMaine is a community sailing center based on the Portland waterfront. Our mission is to foster an inclusive community, cultivate personal growth, and inspire a love of sailing through affordable access to the waters of Maine. Our vision is a future where all people, especially youth and regardless of background, are positively impacted by community sailing.

We offer junior sailing summer programs, high school competitive sailing, adult learn-to-sail programs, community and corporate programs, adaptive sailing, social and family sailing, and boat rentals. We aim to offer something for our entire community!

SailMaine hosts several events throughout the year, including regattas, social events and special sailing events. Our events are meant to get more people out on the water and build community around sailing. Come on down, get involved, and get sailing!
