Summer Champs:

We are participants in the Libra Foundation's SUMMER CHAMPS program, and welcome participants utilizing this wonderful gift. Simply write your Summer Champs number on our registration form, pay nothing, and send in all three forms to reserve your spot (if Summer Champs is not paying for the entire fee, please remit the balance at time of registration). If you do not yet know your Summer Champs number, simply check the box that indicates that your Summer Champs number is pending on our registration form and send it in. There is no need to make a deposit if Summer Champs is paying your whole fee. We are Summer Champs camp number 351.

Other full and partial scholarships are offered for the program through SailMaine, Portland Parks and Recreation, and private donors.  Please contact Sailing Master Jeff Cumming (sailmail AT sailmaine DOT org or 650-4033) with questions about scholarships.  Do not let financial issues prevent your child from sailing this summer; we can help.

Registration:

Registration for Spring and Summer programs opens February 18, 2008. We have updated our forms so that you can complete them on your computer. You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader 8 or later in order to submit forms this way. We will accept copies by e-mail of the new forms, but due to legal considerations the Medical Form and General Waiver must bear an actual signature. If you submit those forms by e-mail, you must arrange to sign them at the office, or deliver a printed and signed copy to us before the start of the program. We'd appreciate an electronic copy, as it lessens our paperwork. Of course we will still accept completed forms through the mail, if you prefer. Please--applications must be COMPLETE, with all three forms completely filled out and signed, and payment included. Partial or incomplete applications will not reserve your spot in the class.
