Junior Race Teams
SailMaine plans to form and support a traveling SailMaine Junior Race Team during the fall-winter-spring sailing season in other parts of the country. Some of the best and most important Youth racing events in the country occurs in the US Southeast during the winter months, including Club 420 Midwinters, Orange Bowl, and St Pete Valentine's Day Regatta.
We want to
provide offseason racing opportunities for local
kids to experience the "next
level" of youth racing in the US. Currently
the format and schedule are being developed; if you
have some interest in participating, or would like
to have some input as to how this program develops,
