Fleet Race Hoorah Regatta at SailMaine

From Captain Mike Siepert:
Well we had more than enough breeze on Saturday with a strong Easterlyly wind, 12-15 kts with gust to about 20 kts. This held out for most of the day. The sailors did a great job of showing off their heavy weather skills. We had a total of 9 boats sailing, representing Southern Maine HS Sailing, Portland HS, Cheverus HS, and Cape Elizabeth HS. The regatta was run as a combined division made up of an A and B division boat from each school. The scores below are broken in to two sections, one as individual scores, and the second as their combined team scores. A total of 10 races were run with the results as follows:
