High School Sailing Assistant Coach
Andrew Stern has always loved the water. As a child he was an accomplished waterskier before undertaking sailing as his true love. As a graduate of The St. Georges School in Newport, RI and Hobart College in Geneva, NY, Andrew has enjoyed sailing and racing on many levels. A relative newcomer to Maine waters, Andrew came here initially to coach sailing at Bowdoin College and became the Junior Sailing Director at the Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club. Now as a full time sailmaker and sales rep for North Sails he has managed to secure a life on the water where he can hopefully continue to coach.
