Sarah Helming
High School Sailing Program Director
Casco Bay Junior Sailing Program Director
Sarah thas been the head coach of the SailMaine High School Team since the fall of 2005. Over the last 3 summers Sarah has worked at Portland Yacht Club in Falmouth ME as Assistant Director of the Junior Program. Before that Sarah coached at the Nantucket YC, Nantucket Community Sailing and the Southport Yacht Club, where she grew up learning to sail. In High School she sailed for The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, CT. Sarah attended Boston College where she was an 2002 collegiate All American Crew. Sarah currently teaches at Thornton Academy and coaches swimming in the off-season. |
