Andrew Gibbons
High School Sailing Assistant Coach
Andrew joined the Sail Maine team in the fall of 2007. He grew up sailing at the Bay Shore Yacht Club and later was an instructor at Unqua Corinthian Yacht Club on the Great South Bay located south of Long Island, New York.
After high school Andrew attended the U.S. Coast Guard Academy where he was a member of the varsity dinghy sailing team for four years as well as a member of the summer ocean racing program. Andrew is new to the Portland area and works as a marine inspector for the Coast Guard in South Portland. |
