420 Capital Campaign
Boats, Boats, Boats!
- We Made It!
Our recent capital campaign for 420s came to a successful conclusion on January 19, 2012, with $45,000 raised. The new-to-us boats that arrived for the 2011 Fall High School Season are ready for Spring, and are paid for, thanks to the generosity of many friends of community sailing in Greater Portland, and throughout the State of Maine. Boating Local did a nice piece on the campaign. Thanks to them for building awareness of our efforts.
We are very excited to have the opportunity to provide our sailors with more gently used boats! Many thanks to the Campaign Committee members for their efforts in getting this initiative off the ground, and for their sustaining hard work that led to its successful completion:
