We are proud to join with the Portland Yacht Club in hosting the Junior Olympic Sailing Festival Northeast, part of a nationwide series of regattas for youth. The goals are to promote the enjoyment of sailing and development of skills as well as provide an Olympic pathway for junior sailors.  In 2011, Junior Olympics events are planned across the continental United States and in Hawaii. Over 4,000 sailors are expected to participate. Junior Olympic Sailing is coordinated by US SAILING and sponsored by West Marine, Gill, Active.com and Hobie sunglasses.

SCHEDULE:
• 7/11             Early Registration (by 12:00 noon)
• 7/14             Registration close (by 5pm)
• 7/18             Check-in @ Headquarters Tent, 4-7pm
• 7/19             Race Day # 1
• 7/20             Race Day # 2

Fees:
• Optimist = $60
• Laser (radial/ full rig) = $60
• 420 = $120
• LATE FEE = $25
• Registration fee includes two days of racing, regatta t-shirt, breakfast and lunch both days.
• No onsite registration will be accepted. Online registration here.

SailMaine is limiting the size of the fleets to ensure safe, quality races.
• Green Fleet Optimist = 50 boats
• RWB Fleet Optimist = 50 boats
• Green Fleet 420 = 40 boats
• 420 Race Fleet = 100 boats
• laser (radial/ full rig) = 60 boats
