REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS, from Carl Zimba, NESSA:
The Fall Funfest for the Gleekman Trophy was held on a beautiful autumn day on the Charles River.  The morning started out chilly with overnight low in the 30s, but the day warmed up to the mid-60s.  The wind was from the west, a good direction for the Charles.  For the first four races, the breeze was 5-10 knots, picking up to 10-15 knots for the rest of the event.  All courses were modified post triangles.  

While many protests were reported to RC, only one was filed resulting in a DSQ.  Two redresses were granted, one for a broken sidestay and another when the Xavier boat stopped racing in Race 5A to rescue a Sharon sailor that had fallen overboard.  

PRO was Jeff Hodess.  Event Chair was Carl Zimba.  Thanks go to the staff at Community Boating and to the handful of coaches that assisted on RC and protest/redress hearings.  

North Kingstown HS failed to turn in a RP form and is penalized 20 points per division according to ISSA Procedural Rule 4.3(a).
