Summer Series
Play on the Bay: 5:00 - 8:00 pm, June 15th - September 28th.
We want everyone to have a chance to get out and sail, with opportunities to spend a few hours quietly cruising, or casually racing in the waters around Portland Harbor.
- Friday Evening Fleet Racing: For sailors with an interest in a low-key racing format. We don't keep score but the group is known to get pretty competitive! Racing takes place in our fleet of Collegiate 420s (13.75 ft Dinghies).
- Friday Evening Open Sail: A casual evening sail for people who want to get out on Casco Bay. This is a great chance for those of you who've learned the ropes with us, or who have some dinghy sailing experience to polish your skills and continue your enjoyment of the water under sail for yourselves. Sailing is in our fleet of Collegiate 420s (13.75 ft Dinghies) or Ynglings (21 ft keelboats).
For Both Programs:
Open to paricipants ages 12-100 who have successfully completed a SailMaine course (JR sailing, HS sailing, Adult 15 hr course) or equivalent. There will be a safety patrol boat on hand, but participants are expected to be comfortable with handling a small sailboat, and aware of all the safety and boat handling considerations involved.

The cost to sail in this series is $20.00 per person per night.
